ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

Downs Rachlin Martin PLLC - one of Northern New England's largest law firms - is seeking to fill the position of Legal Administrative Assistant in our St. Johnsbury, Vermont office in our Business and Real Estate Practice Groups.

The ideal candidate will possess exceptional organizational skills, the capacity to multitask effectively, meticulous attention to detail with excellent communication, writing, and editing skills (especially proofreading). Collaboration with legal professionals is essential, as is the ability to function autonomously in our fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will demonstrate an aptitude for prioritizing tasks to meet time-sensitive deadlines. Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and its applications along with the ability to learn new software quickly and work in complex electronic documents is required. An ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree and experience in a law firm or other professional setting (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
