We are looking for an Accounting & Collections Specialist to join our growing team in our Rochester, NY branch!

*Position is located on-site in Rochester, NY

Job Responsibilities :

Accounting & Collections Specialist will:

• Contact customers with past-due accounts to arrange for timely payment
• Prepare demand letters and follow up on past-due accounts
• Research, identify, and resolve invoicing issues
• Answer inquiries from customers and internal departments
• Additional duties as assigned

Required Background and Experience:

Accounting & Collections Specialist should have:

• An Associate’s degree or equivalent
• Customer service, accounting and/or collections experience (at least one year)
• Accounts receivable experience (preferred)
• Excellent working knowledge of computer software business applications such as Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word
• Willingness to work in a team environment and assist co-workers as needed
• High level of interpersonal skills to provide internal and external customer service in a professional manner at all times
