We are looking for a Collections and Customer Service Specialist to join our growing team in our Rochester, NY branch!

*Position is located on-site in Rochester, NY

Job Responsibilities :

Collections and Customer Service Specialist will:

• Call an average of 20-30 customers a day with past due accounts to arrange for timely payment
• Research, identify, and resolve invoicing issues with customers
• Work with internal departments on resolutions
• Answer daily inbound calls with customer payments & questions
• Prepare disconnect and final demand letters
• Additional duties as assigned

Required Background and Experience :

Collections and Customer Service Specialist should have:

• Previous experience in collections or customer service preferred
• Previous experience in accounts payable or accounts receivable a plus
• Strong problem-solving skills and high attention to detail
• Excellent communication
• Excellent working knowledge of computer software business applications such as Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word
• Willingness to work in a team environment
• Time management

Work Setting:

• Office (Monday through Friday, 8am-5pm)
• In-person
