Job Description:

• PURPOSE OF JOB: To coordinate, develop and facilitate orientation, competencies, and continuing education for all Rehab Associates in conjunction with providing therapy services throughout the lifespan as outlined in discipline specific therapist job description.

• ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :

• Integrates the five elements of patient management (examination, evaluation,

prognosis, and intervention) in a manner that maximizes outcomes.

• Performs accurate and timely documentation and billing.

• Consistently meets department productivity standards, while providing care that

maximizes patient outcomes.

• Delegates appropriately to support personnel.

• Coordinates, develops and facilitates orientation, competencies, and continuing

education of associates, students and volunteers.
Job Qualifications:
QUALIFICATIONS:
A. Education: Bachelor of Science, Masters or Doctorate Degree or Certificate of

Physical Therapy, Occupational or Speech therapy from an accredited

program
B. Experience: Current Licensure in the State of Pennsylvania as a Physical/Occupational

or Speech Therapist

A minimal of 3 years clinical experience

Previous teaching experience desirable
C. Other Skills : Must possess the ability to work independently and in a team.

High level of communication skills

Good organizational skills

Must possess good working knowledge of computer applications

Must possess the ability to problem solve, demonstrate good judgment

and make decisions.

Active member of their professional organization is desirable

Certified in CPR/BLS.

• Current drivers' license and auto insurance.
• Ability to drive a car in inclement weather.
