Role Description

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Land Entitlement Manager to join our team. This role is pivotal in shaping the future of our development projects, ensuring that we not only meet but exceed our ambitious goals. As the Land Entitlement Manager, you will be at the forefront of our mission, navigating the complexities of land use regulations and working closely with government agencies, community leaders, and our internal and external teams to secure the necessary approvals for our projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the entitlement process, securing necessary permits and approvals to advance multiple land development projects.

- Oversee and coordinate all consultants, including landscape architects, civil engineers, environmental consultants, and geotechnical engineers.

- Manage due diligence, including the procurement and analysis of proposals, review of reports, and detailed discussions with consultants to address areas of concern.

- Lead rezoning and annexation petition approvals, including attending and presenting at neighborhood meetings and public hearings.

- Conduct thorough reviews to ensure engineering work meets all project specifications and regulatory requirements.

- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate project design, approval, and permitting processes.

- Manage detailed project tasks, including scheduling, budgeting, and compliance tracking.

- Establish & maintain positive relationships with municipal agencies, representatives, consultants, and industry partners.

- Utilize strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively.

- Stay current with local, state, and federal land use regulations and policy changes, and communicate any changes to leadership.

- Provide regular updates to senior management on project status and entitlement risks.

Qualifications

- Preferred 3 years experience in land entitlements

- Proven track record showcasing ability to successfully navigate the entitlements process and secure project approvals.

- Strong understanding of local land use policies and regulations.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, high-performance environment.

- Proactive problem solver with a willingness to go the extra mile.

- Exceptional analytical and project management skills, capable of working independently on detailed tasks.
