Design Specialist (3 years of experience) 

Job Purpose 

The Design Specialist provides integral support to the design, development and maintenance of critical sales, marketing and internal communications deliverables and assets. Reporting to the Communications Operations lead, this role will primarily focus on the design and development of visually compelling assets supporting commercial engagements, executive presentations and other digital design elements while ensuring brand compliance and consistency. In addition, the role will require close collaboration with the sales function to ensure the timely development of graphics, presentations, videos, animations and more in support of business pursuits.

The chosen candidate is responsible for working with stakeholders to gather content and understand needs; incorporate feedback to refine and improve deliverables; and maintain assets within marketing/communications library. 

This position is a full-time, hybrid role based in Charlotte, NC. 

Key Accountabilities 

• Ensure consistency in design across all digital platforms, adhering to brand guidelines.
  • Utilize various design principles and best practices to create visually appealing and impactful presentations. 
  • Incorporate visuals, video, charts, graphs, and other media to enhance understanding and engagement. 
  • Develop a consistent visual style that aligns with our brand identity. 
  • Tailor presentations to specific audiences and objectives. 
• Collaborate with stakeholders
  • Use feedback from user research and analytics to refine and improve designs.
  • Coordinate with other designers, stakeholders, and team members to gather requirements and specifications and understand their needs 
  • Incorporate feedback to refine and improve presentations and other deliverables. 
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines. 
• Maintain and update graphic design resources
  • Maintain assets within our marketing and communications library 
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest presentation and design trends and technologies 
  • Share best practices and knowledge with team members 
• Act as a Brand Ambassador to DP World at all times and strictly adhere to brand standards in the development of all deliverables.

Qualifications  

• Associates or Bachelor’s degree, or other certifications in graphic design, marketing, communication or related field 
• Strong portfolio of work to demonstrate capabilities 
• High proficiency in PowerPoint and design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) 
• Excellent communication, collaboration and interpersonal skills 
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
