JOB PURPOSE
As the Payroll System Analyst, you will be responsible for overseeing the implementation, configuration, and ongoing operations of Payroll solutions within our organization. You will work with a team of HCM professionals, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure the successful delivery of HCM initiatives.
As a Payroll System Analyst, you will be an integral part of our AMR IT team, driving innovation, efficiency, and cost savings through effective utilization of HCM & Payroll application. Payroll System Analyst will play a vital role in optimizing our Payroll processes, enhancing system functionalities, and driving overall HR & Payroll excellence using applications.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
  • Implementation and Configuration: Lead the implementation and configuration of Payroll system to meet business requirements
  • Project Management: Manage end-to-end Payroll projects, including planning, execution, monitoring, and control of project activities, ensuring adherence to timelines, budget, and quality standards
  • System Optimization: Continuously evaluate and enhance Payroll system functionality, performance, and user experience to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness
  • Business Process Analysis: Analyse existing Payroll processes, identify areas for improvement, and recommend and implement process enhancements and best practices leveraging Oracle Fusion HCM, Cargoes rostering and payroll system capabilities
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including HCM & payroll, finance, IT, and business users, to understand their requirements, address issues, and provide technical expertise and guidance related to Payroll systems
  • Training and Support: Develop and deliver training programs and support materials to educate end-users on Payroll system functionality, features, and best practices
  • Data Management: Oversee data integrity and ensure accurate and timely data entry, maintenance, and reporting within Payroll system
  • System Maintenance and Upgrades: Manage system maintenance activities, including applying patches, upgrades, and ensuring data integrity. Coordinate with IT teams for system integration and troubleshooting
  • Vendor Management: Work closely with external vendors, consultants, and service providers to manage relationships, monitor deliverables, and ensure high-quality services related to Payroll systems
  • Configuration and Customization: Configure Payroll system according to business requirements. Coordinate with technical teams for any required customizations or enhancements
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with Payroll policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, and implement appropriate controls to mitigate risks associated with Payroll activities
  • Performance Monitoring: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the effectiveness of Payroll system, generate reports, and provide insights to drive continuous improvement
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Human Resources, Information Systems, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus
  • experience in Implementing Oracle Payroll system and 3-5 years of expertise as a Functional consultant.
  • Extensive experience working with Payroll, Oracle HCM & T&A system, including implementation, configuration, and support.
  • Experience of implementing and managing Payroll systems in AMR region is required.
  • Strong understanding of payroll processes and best practices.
  • Excellent knowledge of tier 1 payroll systems, functionalities, and integration points with other applications.
  • Familiarity with data management, reporting, and analytics.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex business requirements and translate them into practical solutions.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Experience in training end-users and providing support for Payroll systems.
  • Knowledge of application integration on public cloud, using Oracle Integration cloud or SOA is desirable.

  • Flexibility to travel - You are ready to travel up to 20% of the time across the globe to our operations to perform audits on site, meet with leaders and associates, and vendors
  • Languages - You speak and write fluent English - additional languages are a bonus, in particular Spanish & Portuguese
