DPI Direct, Inc. is a rapidly growing, dynamic one-source printing, labeling, packaging and marketing company located in Poway, CA.

We have an immediate full time opening for a 2nd SHIFT FOLDER OPERATOR.

Position: Folder / Bindery Operator

Work Hours: 3:00pm to 11:30pm with opportunity for Overtime.

Pay: $20-$23 DOE

Job Description:

• Set up, operate, and adjust equipment, understanding machine calibration, profiling, and how to make needed adjustments.
• Diagnose, solve, and correct operating problems affecting the quality and timeliness of the service, product, or function.
• Check files for errors or issues missed by the prep department
• Check quality and verify the fold is correct and perfect.
• Work in tandem with the Production Supervisor to schedule jobs daily for the department ensuring projects are expedited correctly through physical job tickets and database/calendars.
• Maintain optimum milling quality and production speed, and complete required jobs in an efficient, safe, and cost-effective manner by maintaining proper control and balance of equipment and workflow.
• Simultaneous management of multiple cutters.
• Comprehensive machine maintenance and cleaning on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis

Job Requirements:

• Prior experience with MBO Folding & Cutting is a plus but we will train for the right candidate.
• Ability to set up, operate, and adjust the equipment, and in addition, diagnose, solve, and correct operating problems affecting the quality and timeliness of the service or product or function. Understand machine calibration, profiling and how to make adjustments.
• Must be committed to the role and maintain exemplary attendance.
• Be a team player.
• Able and willing to follow work instructions and company policies including safety protocols.
• Good math skills, time management, verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work overtime when needed to meet deadlines.
• Be able to lift up to 50lbs.
