This role is based out of our Telford, PA facility which offers its employees beautiful walking trails, onsite fitness center with yoga and fitness training classes, self-service café with a large indoor/outdoor gathering space, and a state-of-the-art Design Center. Telford is our US manufacturing site for the Neonatal product line as well as production support for Dräger’s Safety products. This location also serves as the key site for essential US functions which includes Medical Sales and Service Management, Medical Marketing, Legal, Compliance, Regulatory, Quality and Finance.
The Maintenance Mechanic Will
  • Perform routine repair, maintenance, and installation of equipment such as machining tools, pneumatic/compressors, electronic tools and accessories, etc.
  • Perform facilities maintenance operations such as routine electrical, plumbing, heating, ventilating and air conditioning repair work.
  • Perform indoor facilities maintenance and repair such as carpentry and painting.
  • Perform outdoor grounds and facilities maintenance including painting and snow removal.
  • Responsible for routine inspection and preventative maintenance operations on equipment, in accordance with established schedule.
  • Performs other duties as needed and assigned.
EducationHigh School diploma or the equivalent in education, training and experience.
Related ExperienceMinimum of 1 to 3 years previous related manufacturing facilities and equipment maintenance experience. Technical training, forklift, and safety training a plus.
Special Competencies Or CertificationsAdditional specialized trades or vocations school training beyond high school a plus

  • Ability to use hands, fingers, legs, feet, in a repetitious motion
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, pull (up to 80 lbs. daily)
  • Ability to use computers and computer systems (includes hardware and software)
  • Ability to perform day to day tasks; i.e. maintain information files and processing paperwork
  • Ability to see details at a close range
  • Ability to match or detect differences between colors
