Job Summary:
As a Front Desk Chiropractic Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our clinic. You will be the first point of contact for our patients and responsible for providing excellent customer service, managing appointments, and assisting with administrative tasks. Your friendly and professional demeanor will create a welcoming atmosphere for our patients, making their experience at our clinic positive and stress-free.
Key Responsibilities:
Patient Reception: Greet patients warmly, check them in, and assist with completing necessary paperwork.
Appointment Scheduling: Schedule and confirm patient appointments, coordinating with the chiropractic team to ensure efficient scheduling.
Insurance Verification: Verify patient insurance information and assist patients with insurance-related inquiries – West Coast Medical Billing
Billing and Payments: Process payments, handle billing inquiries, and maintain accurate financial records.
Phone and Email Communication: Answer phone calls and respond to emails professionally and promptly, addressing patient inquiries and concerns.
Patient Records: Maintain and update patient records and ensure compliance with confidentiality regulations.
Office Maintenance: Keep the front desk area, waiting room, treatment area, and bathrooms clean, organized, and well-stocked with informational materials and/or supplies as appropriate.
Assist Doctors: Provide support to chiropractors and clinical staff as needed, including preparing treatment rooms and assisting with patient care.
Patient Education: Offer basic information to patients regarding chiropractic care and services.
Problem Solving: Address patient issues and concerns, finding solutions or escalating issues to management when necessary.
Adherence to Policies: Ensure compliance with clinic policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
Continuous Improvement: Suggest and implement improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of front desk operations.
