We are looking for a self motivated, team orientated assistant to join our practice. We are a small, modern, private owned practice in the Fox Chapel Area. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting our dentist with various procedures and ensuring the smooth operation of our dental office. Position is three days a week with no evenings or weekends.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare patients and treatment rooms for procedures
• Maintain the organization, sterilization and inventory of instruments and supplies
• Assisting the dentist chairside with various procedures
• Undertake Lab tasks as instructed
• Scheduling patients using Dentrix Software
• Front Desk duties; such as answering phones, emailing, scanning documents, collecting payments, etc.

Qualifications:

• Have the desire to learn and grow within their role
• Good computer skills (we are a fully digital office)
• Well organized with the ability to multitask
• Ability to communicate with patients as well as staff
• Professional and friendly disposition
• Completion of a Dental Assistant Program or prior Dental Experience

Salary is negotiable and dependent on experience and clinical ability.
