Medical Assistant Job Responsibilities:
- Checks patient vitals, documents in EMR.
- Answers phones, confirms appointments, schedules/reschedules appointments.
- Provides patients with information and assistance as needed.
- Verifies patient information, prepares charts, records medical history and medications.
- Secures patient information and follows HIPAA guidelines.
- Completes medical record requests.
- Schedules surgical procedures, makes arrangements with surgical center, prepares charts, pre-consent forms.
- Prescription refills under the providers guidance.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 per hour
