We are seeking an experienced, skilled and detail-oriented Lash Technician to join our Med Spa. As a Lash Artist, you will be responsible for applying and maintaining semi-permanent eyelash extensions, as well as performing lash lifts and tints. You will work with clients to determine the best length, thickness, and style of extensions to suit their desired look and apply the extensions using precision and care. You will also educate clients on how to care for their eyelash extensions and remove them safely and gently when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Consult with clients to determine their desired look and the best length, thickness, and style of eyelash extensions to suit their face shape
• Prepare the work area by sterilizing and sanitizing tools and equipment, and setting out the necessary supplies
• Measure and cut eyelash extensions to the appropriate length and thickness
• Isolate and secure a single natural lash with a small amount of glue, and attach the extension to the natural lash using tweezers
• Repeat the process for each natural lash, working from the outside corner of the eye inward, to create a full, natural-looking set of eyelashes
• Monitor the progress of the eyelash extension application, making any necessary adjustments to ensure a balanced and symmetrical look
• Educate clients on how to care for their eyelash extensions, including how to clean them and avoid pulling or rubbing them
• Remove eyelash extensions safely and gently, using a specially formulated remover
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Keep up to date with the latest techniques and trends in the eyelash extension industry by attending training workshops and seminars

Requirements:

• A high school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of a cosmetology or esthetician program, including training in eyelash extension application
• A valid cosmetology or esthetician license, as required by state law
• A minimum of 1 year experience working in an aesthetic environment
• Good manual dexterity and eye-hand coordination
• Attention to detail and the ability to work with precision
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• The ability to work in a standing position for long periods of time
• Physical stamina and the ability to work under pressure
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends, as needed

Must be able to work evenings and Saturdays

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
