This role is based out of our Telford, PA facility which offers its employees beautiful walking trails, onsite fitness center with yoga and fitness training classes, self-service café with a large indoor/outdoor gathering space, and a state-of-the-art Design Center. Telford is our US manufacturing site for the Neonatal product line as well as production support for Dräger’s Safety products. This location also serves as the key site for essential US functions which includes Medical Sales and Service Management, Medical Marketing, Legal, Compliance, Regulatory, Quality and Finance.

This position will perform various assembly duties of Draeger Medical’s US produced products, utilizing applicable documentation, assembly drawings, bills of materials small hand tools, and soldering iron in the assembly process. 

• Provide on the job training for employees not only product related but also company policies and procedures.
• Ability to learn difficult tasks/procedures quickly and with little supervision
• Assemble various electromechanical assemblies using procedures, process documentation assembly drawing bills of material and small hand tools (i.e. pliers, cutter, solder iron.)
• Perform visual inspection of electromechanical assemblies for compliance to workmanship standards using various inspection methods
• Complete applicable written and electronic documentation accurately (i.e. routings device history records, maintenance logs, etc.
• Operates standard electronic test equipment (e.g. oscilloscopes, DMM’s signal generators, power supplies etc.)
• Troubleshoots products to sub assembly level

Your Qualifications

Education:

• High School Diploma or equivalent in education, training and experience.

Related Experience:

Experience in SAP and 5-7 years’ experience in manufacturing environment.

Special Competencies or Certifications:

• Experience with using SAP, basic computer skills.
• Select individuals will work as needed in the Infrastructure Projects (IP) area. These duties are similar to the NC&T duties but may involve more extensive electrical wiring and schematics training and knowledge, brazing of copper tubing, and other unique duties to this production line. Employees chosen to work in the IP area will be trained on these duties.

Draeger has several sites located across North America as well as field-based sales and service positions. Our North America headquarters is located in Telford, PA just north of Philadelphia. We also have US sites in Andover, MA, and Houston, TX. Our Canada site is located in Mississauga, Ontario.
