Dragonfly Therapeutics is Hiring a Senior/Principal Associate Scientist, Translational Medicine Near Waltham, MA
Dragonfly Therapeutics seeks a highly skilled and experienced Senior/Principal Associate Scientist to join our Translational Medicine team to support the advancement of our clinical programs. The candidate must have extensive experience in design, validation, and analysis of clinical samples using spectral flow cytometry and Luminex technology. We are searching for an independent and flexible individual able to work efficiently across multiple projects. Responsibilities:
Play a key role in the progression of Dragonfly's clinical stage programs
Responsible for the hands-on execution of flow cytometry-based immuno phenotyping and analysis of serum soluble factors from clinical samples
Develop and validate multicolor flow cytometry panels and Luminex multiplex assays
Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety standards in the laboratory
Generate, analyze, interpret, organize, and report experimental data
Oversee day to day operations of clinical samples lab, including receive and accession clinical samples following established SOPs
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate flow cytometry and Luminex data with other biomarker data
Qualifications:
B.S. or M.S. degree in Immunology, Cell Biology, or a related field (title commensurate with experience)
Minimum of 5 years of relevant research experience, industry experience is required
Extensive hands-on experience with developing, validating, and running high-dimensional flow cytometry panels and Luminex assays is required; experience working Cytek Aurora is preferred
Proficiency with data analysis methods and software (e.g. FlowJo, Excel, GraphPad Prism)
Familiarity with regulatory requirements and quality control processes in a clinical laboratory setting
Strong organizational and record-keeping skills, and written and verbal communication skills
Ability to multi-task with a high attention to detail
Ability to work in concert with a team as well as independently
Self-motivated, conscientious, and enthusiastic about curing cancer
