Our client is looking to add a Database Specialist to their team. This is a full-time direct hire position located in central Madison. The ideal candidate with have strong SQL skills and some exposure to Visual Basic.
Responsibilities:
- Administer, test, and implement computer databases
- Coordinate changes to computer databases
- Implement security measures to safeguard computer databases
- Respond to database problems and escalations
- Run reports and extract data from MS Access
- Build new modules or expand existing capabilities
- Integrations: import/export data with 3rd party system
- Manage email cleaning database
- Manage all email addresses in the Microsoft platform
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in database administration or other related fields
- Experience with relational databases, such as SQL, Oracle, and Access
- Experience with Visual Basic (VB)
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Ability to prioritize and multitask
- Deadline and detail-oriented
