Drake Cement and its sister location the Tehachapi Cement Plant in California form the cement unit of UNACEM North America.

Together, they create a single, integrated business with an expansive market in the Southwest United States.

Responsibilities :

• Operate cement transfer pump safely and responsibly to refill other cement silos as needed to maintain cement inventory and comply with environmental regulations.
• Operate Dispatch equipment to load trucks per DOT regulations and company policy to ensure compliance with all state and federal laws and regulations.
• Perform required routine maintenance of dispatch equipment to keep pipes and distribution points clear to ensure reliable product flow and maintain the quality of cement.
• Troubleshoot dispatch equipment to asses problems that will require other departments' involvement to repair to ensure reliability and efficiency.
• Effectively communicate required work to remedy issues of dispatch equipment with other departments to ensure timely repairs of equipment.
• Perform housekeeping duties to minimize trip hazards as required by MSHA and company policy.
• Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience :

• A high school diploma or GED is required.
• Knowledge of cement plant operations.
