Job Overview: Research, develop and implement an Information Technology strategy for the organization that reflects and supports the current and future needs of the company. Responsibilities:
Data Governance - Create and maintain the data infrastructure and reports needed to support current and future business needs.
Infrastructure - Maintain and support IT infrastructure.
Software Administration - Evaluate, install, configure, and maintain software systems to meet organizational goals.
Application Development - Develop and implement web applications used to gather and disseminate data.
Project Management - Plan and monitor the implementation of IT projects for all departments.
Technical Support - Coordinate with internal customers and vendors to resolve technological and procedural problems of employees.
Process Analysis - Analyze business functions to recommend technological solutions for improving business processes throughout the company.
Best Practices - Research and implement best practices to ensure optimal performance, usability, and accuracy of data, reports, and applications.
Training - Develop and disseminate standards and training programs/materials to improve use of technology throughout the company.
Research, develop, and implement IT and plant projects to support the current and future needs of the company.
Perform all aspects of IT infrastructure maintenance to assure peak performance and minimize downtime.
Provide technical support to everyone to achieve an effective and timely resolution.
Design, implement, and support IT infrastructure throughout the company.
Deploying computer systems as well as other IT hardware such as wireless networking equipment and cameras
Provide aerial imaging for plant projects and mine planning.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
5 years work as a systems engineer
At least 2-4 years of experience as an IT Support Analyst. Followed by another 2-4 years as an IT Systems Administrator.
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology with 4 years of relevant work experience.
Cement, construction or manufacturing industry experience is a plus but not necessary.
Great communication skills, strong business skills, excellent decision-making skills, detail oriented and time management.
