Job Description Summary: System Integration and Test (I&T) Engineer 2 serves as the system integrator for technologies and product lines developed using Draper's core capabilities. In this role they plan, execute, and manage I&T activities starting from early test concept development through system certification. This includes functional simulation, subsystem and system integration and test, verification and validation (V&V), performance evaluation, and acceptance testing. System I&T Engineers leverage multi-disciplinary engineering expertise and collaborate with other Systems Engineers to establish clear, verifiable, and traceable requirements, inform and drive system concepts, architectures, and designs to promote testability, and utilizes resident expertise and lessons learned to support the development of highly reliable, robust, and complex systems. Job Description: Duties/Responsibilities
• Help define an I&T approach for a particular component / subsystem / system and independently execute plan. • Contribute high quality content for technical reports and presentations with minimal guidance.
• Adapt appropriately to changes in program requirements.
• Proactively identify needs and concerns associated with plan execution and communicate them to project leadership. • Performs other duties as assigned. Skills/Abilities

Requires a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, Applied Physics, or related field. Experience
Requires 3-5 years in Systems Engineering or relevant role. Additional Job Description: * Responsible for developing and execution of tests for electronic modules, spanning failure analysis, verification & validation testing and function testing as well as implementing improvements for current test processes. * Understanding of electrical schematics, assembly drawings and electronics manufacturing processes. * Simulations of low level circuitry and high level subsystem behavior to support design changes and failure analysis. * Ability to work and interface with manufacturing engineers, production engineers, mechanical engineers to accomplish inter-disciplinary activities. * Development of requirements and hardware for new test stations to improve test coverage and automation of existing test procedures. * Creating and presenting status updates to upper management on ongoing failure investigations and important milestones as well as providing path forward and corrective action as needed. * System data analysis and trending for ongoing test series and compilation of reports to share with stakeholders. * Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering. * Experience leading small test engineering team. * One to Three years of experience in electronics test. * One - three years of experience in systems engineering. Preferred Skills and Experience: * Master's Degree in electrical or computer engineering. * Experience with Python, LabVIEW and Matlab. * Understanding of motor drive electronics, digital communication systems, power supply design and embedded systems. * Strong familiarity with DMMs, DAQ, Oscilloscopes, Spectrum Analyzers, VISA, Network Analyzer, Logic Analyzers, power supplies and automated load machines.
