DRCC's Riverside house in Morgan Park, is seeking enthusiastic, flexible, and reliable Assistant Program Director to join our team and help lead our dedicated staff. We are dedicated to creating a warm, supportive environment where individuals can achieve their highest level of independence.

What You'll Do:

• Develop meaningful relationships with the people we serve, respecting their rights and promoting their interests.
• Ensure the health and safety of each person in our program.
• Implement Coordinated Service and Support Plans to deliver comprehensive care.
• Assist clients with personal care needs, including lifting, transferring, bathing, and toileting.
• Perform administrative tasks, such as writing client and program plans, budgeting, and record-keeping.
• Take on responsibilities in the absence of the Program Director.
• Maintain the building and equipment.
• Demonstrate excellent personal communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and train staff.
• Oversee client financial reports, medication ordering, and grocery shopping.
• Set appointments, write programs, and follow through on outcomes.
• Assist individuals with daily activities, personal care, and housekeeping tasks.
• Provide overnight supervision as needed.

• One year of experience working with individuals with disabilities OR A two-year degree in behavioral science or a related field.
• Proficiency with computers, email, business-related software, and office equipment.
• A valid driver’s license with no restrictions, a working vehicle, and at least state-required minimum auto insurance coverage.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to pass a background check.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $19.25 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
