DRH Health is Hiring a Room Service Attendant Near Duncan, OK
Responsibilities
- Perform excellent customer service when interacting and serving customers including but not limited to positive greetings, patience, active listening, and excellent verbal communication skills.
- Process orders for patient requested nourishments. Read tray tickets to determine food and non-food items to place on tray. Prepare food items such as sandwiches, salads, soups, and beverages. Examine filled tray for completeness and place on cart or conveyor belt. Ensure portion follows diet list on tray ticket.
- Coordinate processing of AM and PM nourishment orders and print AM and PM nourishment labels.
- Deliver food trays to health care patients. Serves trays to patients using patient identifier. Record amount and type of special food items served to patients.
- Follow standard procedures for patient diet patterns. May prepare special orders including but not limited to operating a blender to make foods for soft or liquid diets and coordinating delivery of all tube feeding and oral supplement orders.
- Assist in proactively stocking floor orders in nursing units and assembling trays for after hours.
- Wash dishes and clean and sanitize work area, tables, cabinets, and food delivery carts.
- Advise management of equipment and/or repair needs.
- Collect and place trash in designated containers.
- Regular attendance and punctuality for scheduled shifts.
- Follow dress code policy.
- Attend training as needed.
- Adhere to safety protocols at all times.
- Implement DRH Standards of Behavior and exhibit behaviors consistent with DRH core values.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Hours: 80 hr pp, 12pm-8:30pm, Every Other Weekend
