Warehouse Lead

Position Summary:

This position will be responsible for managing all activities of the warehouse in support of the overall operation. This includes, but is not limited to:

• Shipping and receiving
• Manufacturing and production of our products (including quality control),
• Inventory management
• Managing and motivating warehouse team members
• Other tasks and projects as assigned

The right person will bring a strong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality control methods, safe manufacturing practices, leadership and a willingness to be hands on in problem solving various build matters. This role will include oversight of the receiving and shipping functions with a focus on keeping the warehouse organized and clean at all times. Making sure assemblers are on task and on schedule will be critical to meeting tight client deadlines and this role will be responsible for managing to those deadlines.

Experience in lean manufacturing is preferred.

Preference will be given to candidates with courses completed or on the job knowledge of these manufacturing practices.

Required Skills:

• Proven experience in warehouse operations management or a similar role
• Familiarity with quality control procedures and mechanical knowledge
• The position requires frequent standing, sitting, lifting items over 50lbs, and all other general warehouse activities.
• A primary role of this position is manufacturing our products when not tending to other tasks. This will be 70% of the job.
• Attention to detail and accuracy is a must
• Ability to accurately perform basic computer tasks surrounding inventory, shipping, and receiving.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize warehouse efficiency and productivity
• Monitor inventory levels and ensure accurate record-keeping

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
