This is the company and role:

Our company is market innovator and top-tier leader in its category of consumer durables (housewares). We have a strong existing Amazon business in the USA as well as in Europe and other world areas. We are actively seeking a team-oriented, highly motivated, results driven overall leader for our growing, dynamic Amazon Global Business. In this full-time position you will be the senior-most leader for this business. You will be a valued integral part of the team growing our market share through contributing a combination of solid ecommerce sales experience and analytics as well as effective and creative marketing and communication solutions. You will educate, execute, and provide the organization with strategically developed sales and marketing programs to drive growth and increase revenue opportunities. This will involve collaborating with both company team members and external stakeholders and vendors to support the growing business needs.

Key Roles and Responsibilities (some are performed by vendors under this role’s supervision/management):

Account Management:

  • Accountable and responsible as leader of Global Amazon Sales in ensuring that Amazon's growth and profitability across all markets is maximized in line with established targets.
  • Daily Amazon account management responsibilities involve sales reporting, operations tracking, financial tracking, and chargeback tracking.
  • Partner with the sales and marketing Directors to manage and coordinate connections with agencies by organizing weekly/monthly meetings with the team.
  • Manage and direct outside vendors associated with this business.
  • Monitor all Amazon platforms for error, alert, questions, and enquiries; resolve with a sense of urgency through organizing and managing cases with Amazon support.
  • Generate recommendations that are based on data to promote growth and increase profitability.
  • Initiate, develop recommend and support the merchandising and promotion event calendar on Amazon on future opportunities.

· Learn and stay updated with the latest trends on Amazon, including its competitive environment and new feature releases.

  • Establish strong relationships and collaborate internally across all cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Operations, Brand, Financial, Customer Service, & Global teams among many others.
  • Work with various team to determine and develop content that guides consumers through their shopping path and experience.

Sales Reporting & Forecasting:

  • Create, monitor, and analyze ASIN performance, rankings, ratings, and customer reviews and make recommendations to enhance rankings and performance to drive sales.
  • Collaborate with team to deliver weekly, monthly, and seasonal sales, advertising, and product performance recaps.
  • Develop annual sales budgets
  • Manage track daily sales performance to ensure each market is pacing to meet budget.

Merchandising:

  • Manage Amazon product listing and optimization for better search ranking results and conversion.
  • Maintain, optimize, create, and improve product listings on the various marketplaces (title, description, images, reviews, prices, promotions, deals, product specs, Premium A pages, Brand Story, Vine, Storefront, etc.) to increase the exposure of the brand and company awareness.
  • Maintain an awareness of Amazon best practices, promotional deadlines, new features, or capabilities and make recommendations for improvements.
  • Maintain and improve positive customer relations through review management.

Advertising:

  • Perform thorough keyword research and analysis, as well as Best Seller Rank research to maximize visibility within each marketplace.
  • Deliver revenue expectations for each market while meeting marketing total advertising metrics.
  • Develop annual marketing budgets.
  • Daily monitoring and analysis revenue all advertising campaign performance, TACoS, ROAS, daily and monthly ad spend, etc.
  • Provide guidance and input on monthly forecasts for each market.
  • Partner with sales, marketing and general management and develop quarterly buy plans for each market.

Supply Chain, Operations & Inventory Management:

  • Manage, with in-market operations teams, across all markets to set inventory stock targets for Amazon Seller Central.

Let’s talk about you:

To be successful in this role, you will bring the following skills and experience:

  • At least 3 years’ experience in the Amazon Seller Central online account management, maintaining a high level of seller performance for good account health.
  • Ability to effectively implement sales and marketing strategies.
  • Ability to effectively monitor analyze and report on category performance versus plan and communicate accordingly.
  • Ability to understand ad and promotional spending effectiveness and efficiencies.
  • You are inquisitive. Proficiency in quickly adapting to and learning new technologies.
  • Clear and concise communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
  • Relevant tertiary education
  • Tolerance for ambiguity
  • Extensive knowledge of Amazon platform includes how to troubleshoot problems, drive sales results, and manage inventory.
  • Experience managing agencies and strong knowledge of the Amazon Advertising platform.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office skills including Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook
  • Consumer durables experience desirable.
  • Entrepreneurial business spirit with hands on, roll-up your sleeves experience, not a corporate project manager.
  • The ability to adapt and excel in a rapid, ever-evolving environment is paramount. Solution orientated and results driven.
