We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Product Assembly and Quality Control Team Member to join our dynamic team. This position is essential to ensure that our products meet the highest standards of quality and functionality. If you have a keen eye for detail, a strong understanding of product schematics, and experience using hand tools, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities

  • Product Assembly:
  • Assemble products according to detailed schematics and instructions.
  • Utilize various hand tools (e.g., screwdrivers, pliers, wrenches) to complete assembly tasks efficiently and accurately.
  • Ensure all components are correctly fitted and secured.
  • Quality Control:
  • Inspect assembled products for defects or inconsistencies.
  • Conduct tests to ensure products function correctly and meet quality standards.
  • Document and report any issues or defects to the production manager.
  • Maintenance and Troubleshooting:
  • Perform routine maintenance on hand tools and equipment to ensure they are in good working condition.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve assembly issues as they arise.
  • Collaboration and Communication:
  • Work closely with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth production flow.
  • Communicate any production delays or issues promptly.
  • Compliance and Safety:
  • Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

Qualifications

  • Experience and Skills:
  • Proven experience in a product assembly or manufacturing role.
  • Proficiency in using hand tools and understanding product schematics.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Education:
  • High school diploma or equivalent. Technical training or certifications in a related field are a plus.
  • Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
  • Capability to lift and move products and materials weighing up to [specific weight, e.g., 50 lbs].

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.50 - $25.95 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 40 per week
