Position: Inside Sales Representative

Job Summary:
We are looking for a motivated and results driven Inside Sales Representative to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities by building strong relationships with potential customers. You will analyze customers’ business needs, identify how DRT Transportation can meet those needs, and work to secure long-term partnerships. Key responsibilities include making outbound sales calls, including cold calling, and following up on leads to establish a strong customer base. You will be expected to drive the sales process, negotiate rates, and contribute to the company's revenue growth while maintaining accurate records using our CRM tool.

Key Responsibilities:

· Prospecting and Lead Generation: Actively seek out new customers through cold calling and lead follow-up. Identify and engage with potential clients to expand the customer base.

· Sales Process Management: Guide prospects through the sales funnel, from initial contact to becoming established customers. Develop and maintain a deep understanding of customer needs and how our services can address them.

· Negotiation and Revenue Growth: Negotiate rates with customers to ensure competitive pricing and profitability. Focus on driving profitable annual revenue growth and achieving sales targets.

· Growth Goal Achievement: Set and achieve growth goals in line with company objectives.

· Collaboration with Field Sales: Work closely with field sales teams to create a cohesive and collaborative approach to customer acquisition and retention.

· CRM Utilization: Maintain detailed and accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline management using our CRM tool.

  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and oral communication abilities. Able to articulate value propositions and negotiate effectively with customers.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional customer service, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills. Capable of building strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills with a keen eye for detail. Able to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Teamwork: Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team setting. Adaptable and capable of working under pressure.
  • Customer Focus: Dedicated to meeting customer needs and achieving both company and personal goals through a customer-centric approach.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
  • A minimum of two years of experience in freight logistics or a related field is preferred.
  • Strong passion for sales and a deep understanding of the transportation industry.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
