DS Containers is Hiring a Business Analyst Near Batavia, IL
The Business Analyst provides support to the sales department and the company as a whole by analyzing and developing improvements to operational tasks & processes used in the day-to-day management of customer order requirements. Works closely within the Inside Sales team in providing direct assistance to customers as needed. Provides support on critical business systems used to manage workflow within the Company.
Assists in the development of design and functional specifications, produces deliverables related to specific projects and assists in post implementation support and report systems enhancements.
Essential Functions (Duties):
Provide direct assistance to the inside sales representatives in supporting the day-to-day management of customer needs.
Collaborate effectively with outside sales on all critical issues to ensure customer needs and expectations are met.
Assist with preparation of customer price letters & updates.
Maintain integrity reports to confirm accuracy of data entries into our systems.
Perform data analysis and interpret information to make recommendations on opportunities for improvements.
Test upgrades/changes/fixes to sales related functions in JDE.
Develop and maintain documentation and training materials and procedures as required to assist end- users in maximizing use of reporting solutions.
Maintain artwork approvals and billing confirmations.
Train system end-users as required.
Monitor general company e-mail address info@dscontainers.com and forward inquiries as needed.
Provide cross-functional project support to other departments as needed.
Minimum Requirements:
Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Experience: Two to five years of practical business systems discipline or relevant work experience equivalent.
Computer Skills:
Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Knowledge of JDE EnterpriseOne or similar ERP or MRP system is a plus.
SQL knowledge is a plus.
ReportsNow das8 knowledge is a plus.

Ability to effectively lead & train users with varied levels of IT systems knowledge.
