We are looking for energetic, compassionate and professional people to work with program participants in their homes and in their communities.

Individual is looking for a Direct Support Professional (DSP) part time to work with him during the day or weekends on skills to be more independent and to get him more involved in the community. He currently has a part time job, enjoys playing and watching video games, playing chess and wants to work on skills to be able to live on his own. He likes to go to the gym, hike and go for walks. He is 30 years old and would like for someone to work on life skills with him so he can be more independent, be a part of his community more and work on social skills.

- Must have a reliable car and feel comfortable driving and individual in it.

- Must be okay working with Heritage Christian Services who will conduct a background check and finger print for you.

- Must have experience working with people who have an intellectual disability.

- Must be over the age of 18 years old.

- Rate of Pay is 20 an hour

Self Hired Community Habilitation Staff will empower the people they work with by modeling, teaching and advocating for them to achieve their highest level of independent living, enable their fullest participation in society, ensure their civil and human rights are protected and promote their ability to be productive, contributing members of their community. Self-Hired Respite Assistants will provide support and supervision to a person with a developmental disability who resides in his/her family home, helping him/her to live out the life of his/her choice and providing relief to the family member/caregiver.
