Overview :

The Biomedical Equipment Technician II (BMET) ensures that medical equipment is functioning properly and accurately, performing preventative maintenance and repairs to support healthcare teams.

Position : Full Time, Permanent

Responsibilities :

• Provide coverage and support for the Clinical Engineering (CE) Lead
• Perform preventative maintenance, safety tests, and equipment calibration
• Repair equipment throughout the responsible area
• Prioritize workload effectively
• Resolve customer service issues
• Assist in ordering parts and supplies
• Perform cross-training for other technicians
• Communicate and collaborate with teammates

Requirement Qualifications :

• Associate's degree in Electrical Engineering, Biomedical or Mechanical Engineering, or related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience servicing technical equipment
• Valid Driver's License
• CBET Certification preferred
• Kansas State License required
• Experience in a hospital environment
