Job Responsibilities include maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers and employees while providing general security duties to our clients. You will promote safety by being alert to observe, correct, and report any hazards. You will need to understand and comply with DSI and Client requirements, as well as specific post instructions. You will participate in training and become familiar with general safety procedures, as well as DSI’s safety manual. You will be interacting with clients, visitors, employees, and the public in a professional manner.
Maintain daily written/typed Dispatch logs. Recognize and monitor communications as well other equipment problems/issues, and notify appropriate personnel for repair. Be able to memorize, retain, and accurately recall information and specific details. Communicate effectively with callers via telephone and handheld radio. Create employee ID badges . Work closely with site personnel to ensure that all communication duties are executed . Having a good understanding and following DSI’s Code of Ethics and Employee Standard. Present oneself in a professional manner through appearance and conduct.

This position will require you to be customer service oriented and have basic to intermediate computer skills, as well as effective written and oral communication skills. You must be able to perform routine foot patrols, moderate lifting, and work in all-weather elements.
