DSI is growing, again! We are hiring Security Officers in Woodruff, SC. Come join a diverse and inclusive team that believes in providing excellent customer service and knows that its biggest asset is its employees.
Job Responsibilities include maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers and employees while providing general security duties to our clients.
You will promote safety by being alert to observe, correct, and report any hazards. You will need to understand and comply with DSI and Client requirements, as well as specific post instructions.
Maintain daily written / typed Dispatch logs. Recognize and monitor communications as well other equipment problems / issues, and notify appropriate personnel for repair.
Be able to memorize, retain, and accurately recall information and specific details. Communicate effectively with callers via telephone and handheld radio.
Create employee ID badges . Work closely with site personnel to ensure that all communication duties are executed . Having a good understanding and following DSI’s Code of Ethics and Employee Standard.
Present oneself in a professional manner through appearance and conduct.
This position will require you to be customer service oriented and have basic to intermediate computer skills, as well as effective written and oral communication skills.
You must be able to perform routine foot patrols, moderate lifting, and work in all-weather elements.
Pre-employment requirements are to be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent. A valid driver's license is preferred.
You must have reliable means of transportation and means of communication. You must pass all required background and drug screenings.
