IT Category Manager
HYBRID – 3 days a week on-site in either Morristown, NJ or Hartford, CT
Salary up to $140,000 annual bonus
A globally leading professional services firm is looking for an IT Category Manager to join their team!
The company is looking for an energetic and driven professional who has experience with IT sourcing specifically for software. The role offers a lot of autonomy and category ownership as well as exposure to high level individuals across Finance, HR, Legal, Tax, Sales, etc.
Job Functions:
· Negotiate contracts for Software, SaaS, Cloud and more
· Implement strategies to drive cost reduction within the software category
· Lead supplier negotiations with major vendors
· Utilize procurement technology for end-to-end lifecycle management
Requirements:
· 4 years of experience I procurement, strategic sourcing, category management, etc.
· Experience negotiating software agreements
· Strong analytical skills
· Ability to build relationships with external and internal partners
