Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Management: Oversee and manage the plant’s financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
• Inventory Control: Maintain perpetual inventory records to ensure accuracy and integrity. Conduct regular inventory audits and cycle counts to verify stock levels and resolve discrepancies.
• Cost Analysis: Analyze production costs and variances. Implement cost control measures and identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
• Continuous Improvement: Collaborate with production and operations teams to enhance manufacturing processes and improve financial performance. Lead initiatives to streamline operations and reduce waste.
• Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports to senior management, highlighting key performance indicators (KPIs) and providing insights on plant operations.
• Compliance: Ensure adherence to all regulatory and safety requirements related to chemical manufacturing. Monitor and report on compliance with internal controls and procedures.
• Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor the plant accounting team. Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the finance department.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or CMA certification preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry, with a strong emphasis on continuous manufacturing processes.
