Summary:

DSJ Global has partnered up with a chemical manufacturing company located near Fort Lauderdale, Florida and they are looking to bring on a Safety Manager II to their facility. Your primary responsibilities will be to implement and promote a strong safety culture, use risk management knowledge and techniques for safety reviews and preventative measures, and guide and support employees with new safety policies and trainings.

Safety Manager II Responsibilities Include:

• Implement health and safety protocols and programs; create new health and safety programs; ensure ISO policies and protocols are followed and within compliance
• Perform Gemba walks and assess areas of risk; conducts audits, investigations, and inspections
• Providing leadership and guidance using strong communication skills; conducting trainings and meetings
• Knowledgeable of OSHA, FDA, EPA, and cGMP regulations and how to properly implement them into daily work processes

Safety Manager II Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Safety, Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Sciences, related field
• 4 years of experience within Manufacturing setting
• CSP, ASP, CHMM or other related certifications are a plus!
