Multi-unit Restaurant Operations Manager

Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Multi-unit Restaurant Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations of our bar/tap rooms in Orange County, CA. As a Multi-unit Restaurant Operations Manager, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the bar, including staff supervision, inventory management, customer service, and ensuring the overall success and profitability of the business. The ideal candidate is a highly organized, proactive leader with excellent communication skills and a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Responsibilities:

1. Restaurant Operations Management:
• Plan, organize, and execute all bar operations in compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Develop and implement effective strategies to maximize revenue and profitability.
• Monitor and manage inventory levels, ordering supplies and controlling costs.
• Create and maintain an appealing bar atmosphere and ambiance.

2. Staff Supervision and Training:
• Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise bar staff and management, ensuring excellent customer service.
• Provide guidance, coaching, and performance feedback to enhance staff productivity and morale.
• Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork and professional growth.
• Conduct regular staff meetings to communicate objectives, policies, and procedures.

3. Customer Service and Guest Satisfaction
• Ensure exceptional customer service by actively engaging with guests and addressing any concerns or issues.
• Monitor and respond to guest feedback and reviews, striving to continuously improve the bar experience.
• Implement strategies to build customer loyalty and increase customer retention.

4. Beverage Program and Menu Development
• Curate and maintain an extensive beverage menu, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic options.
• Stay updated with industry trends, introducing new and innovative drinks to the menu.
• Conduct regular tastings and staff training sessions to maintain product knowledge.

5. Financial Management:
• Develop and manage budgets, ensuring cost control and profitability.
• Monitor sales, expenses, and financial performance, implementing corrective measures when necessary.
• Analyze financial reports, identify trends, and develop strategies to increase revenue and reduce costs.

Qualifications and Skills• Proven experience as a Restaurant Operations Manager, or similar role, demonstrating successful management and leadership.
• Strong business acumen and financial management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with staff and customers effectively.
• Outstanding organizational and multitasking abilities, with attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
• Proficiency in bar-related software and Toast point-of-sale (POS) systems.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations and compliance standards.
• Must be of legal drinking age and hold any necessary certifications required by local regulations.
