Being a member of the Information Technology group, the Executive Director, Application Architecture delivers secure, reliable technology solutions that enable DTCC to be the trusted infrastructure of the global capital markets. The team delivers high-quality information through activities that include development of essential, building infrastructure capabilities to meet client needs and implementing data standards and governance. 

• Enable innovation through analysis of market trends and emerging technologies to identify and manage risks and opportunities and guide investment decisions
• Facilitate business and IT alignment, connecting strategy to execution, driving the organization’s goals
• Develop, socialize and govern the evolution of standards, reference architectures, patterns, and principals
• Lead analysis of the technology landscape environment to identify gaps, technical debt and recommend solutions for improvement which optimize cost, improve operations and solution sustainability
• Manage, mentor, and provide architectural guidance across the organization by communicating the value of Enterprise Architecture, service offering and instill architectural and design thinking approaches
• Create and evolve architecture practices, services and operating model
• Collaborate with the portfolio management team to improve and manage the intake and analysis process (including design and estimation) as well as to improve the Product and IT operating model
• Drive maturity across our cloud practices, including automation, self-service, efficiency, scale and performance, leveraging well architected framework to assess maturity and drive improvement.
• Develop and maintain the enterprise architecture cloud strategy, ensuring it aligns with the business's long-term objectives.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand their business needs and translate them into architectural requirements.
• Evaluate and recommend new and emerging technologies for innovation and efficiency improvements.
• Ensure that enterprise architecture is designed with security and compliance in mind.
• Design solutions that can scale to meet the organization's growth demands.
• Effective Communication using architectural artifacts across large technical and business audiences.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to architecture and development teams. Foster a culture of innovation and excellence in architectural design.
