DTG Enterprises Inc. is seeking a Sweeper Driver . All candidates must pass a drug screen and background check prior to starting work.

Job Responsibilities :

• Operate truck and sweeper unit.
• Make safety a priority.
• Ability to communicate professionally with a team.
• Dependable, reliable, and punctual
• The ability to solve problems and tasks with minimal supervision.

Essential Job Functions :

• Clearing trash, debris, snow, and contaminants from streets and curbs.
• Securely fastening vehicle attachments such as brush hogs and hydraulic hoses
• Filling the street sweeper's water tanks, operating rotary brushes, and water spray controls
• Adhering to traffic safety regulations by using appropriate signaling and signage
• Maintaining street sweeper vehicles and equipment by performing standard checks
• Pulls lever to dump refuse in piles at curb for removal.
• Performs daily pre-post trip inspections with appropriate documentation in compliance with DOT guidelines.
• Check fluid levels, tires, lights, and other controls for safe operation.

Requirements :

• Class B or greater CDL and clean driving record
• Excellent can-do attitude
• Superior customer service skills
• Strong written and verbal communication
• Basic troubleshooting / mechanical skills
