Consultant should be open to Hybrid in Chicago, IL (On-site twice per week)
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure the integration and functionality of all IT and A/V systems.
Collect and preserve digital evidence in accordance with legal standards.
Develop and implement strategies to mitigate potential cyber threats and attacks.
Simulate cyber-attacks to evaluate the effectiveness of the security systems and improve defensive measures.
Ensure continuous monitoring and maintenance of IT, A/V equipment, and software.
Maintain all systems and devices up to date with the latest malware, virus protection, and other cybersecurity measures.
Resolve IT-related issues promptly and effectively.
Manage software licenses, updates, replacements, and procure new software as needed.
Oversee the purchase and installation of new equipment as required.
Educate staff on best practices for maintaining security and preventing breaches.
Develop risk management strategies to protect the organization's IT infrastructure.
Provide recommendations on cost-effective and modern replacements or enhancements for current software and equipment.
Collaborate with federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies on cybersecurity and electronic crimes investigations.
Qualifications:
Certified Offensive Security Professional (OSCP) or CRISC (Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control) or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or equivalent certification.
