$95,000.-$110,000. annually (based on experience and negotiable.)
W-2 position. added benefit of non-taxable $5,400.00 for gas reimbursement annually.

Position: Occupational Therapist - Home Care Visit (FT)

Our staff in the office is here to work with you on every scheduling need, answer all questions, provide professional guidance or a compassionate ear. We pay better than most and we never ask you to work nights or weekends.
Our aim is to keep you traveling close to your home so preference will be given to those applicants who reside in the above-mentioned counties.
Duties will include traveling to clients' homes and conducting an in-person evaluation of clients, developing treatment plans, assessing the work and home environments of clients, and developing individualized Occupational Therapy rehabilitation programs. You will follow your own patients with weekly or bi-weekly appointments as appropriate.
25-30 visits per week. No evenings, no weekends.
Your hours of work are between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Most of our clinicians accomplish 4-6 visits per day and are home by 3:00 p.m.! Lots of autonomy and freedom to create your work-life balance. Plenty of caring guidance from your supervisor and scheduler when you need it. Plenty of independence and freedom when you are doing just fine.

Occupational Therapist Responsibilities
  • Conducting physical and psychological evaluations of clients and developing or following a treatment plan.
  • Assessing the home and work environments of clients and deciding what adjustments are needed.
  • Advising on adaptive equipment to help clients with daily activities.
  • Developing physical rehabilitation programs to help clients regain lost skills.
  • Educating caregivers and family members of clients on patient care and support
  • Evaluating results and progress of occupational therapy on clients.
  • Maintaining professional knowledge and technical progress to provide clients with the best treatment program available.
  • Complying with federal, state, and local certification requirements.
  • Evaluating patient condition regarding physical and basic mental health.
  • Training and Supervising any Certified Occupational Therapist Assistants that may be assigned to follow some of your patients.
Occupational Therapist Requirements
  • A Bachelor's/Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from a university certified by the ACOTE (Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education) or AOTA (American -Occupational Therapy Association).
  • Certified by the National Board for Certification.
  • Licensed for the State of Maryland.
  • Compliant with state healthcare regulatory requirements.
  • Possess up-to-date knowledge of treatment practices and physical therapy programs.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to take care of clients with different personalities.
  • Comfortable using a computer/iPad for various tasks.
  • Ability to assess patient conditions and work with treatment plans.
  • Must have current CPR certification.
  • Must have an earnest desire to help clients in their recovery at home.
  • Must have a driver's license and a reliable automobile and show proof of current auto insurance.
  • Must have own equipment (and we can help with that depending on any special client needs).
