The Duck Inn is seeking an organized, professional Host. We require an individual who has experience in building customer relationships, pragmatism and leadership.
Someone who is able to manage the flow of service, can maintain a positive attitude and demeanor, has great people skills, pleasent phone etiquitte and understands that their face is likely the first and last one the guests see.
Required duties of the job include, but are not limited to, answering phones, ringing in carryout orders, promptly greeting guests, fielding questions about the menu and special events / offerings, keeping the front of the restaurant presentable, and opening and closing sidework.
Housed in a 100 year old pre-prohibition tavern, it showcases Michelin Rated Partner / Chef Kevin Hickey’s signature New American cuisine.
An extensive beverage program filled with craft beers, contemporary cocktails and creative wine service matches the food offerings.
