1 Cellar Master Job in Sebastopol, CA
Duckhorn Wine Company is Hiring a Cellar Master Near Sebastopol, CA
What we will ask you to do:
- Supervise all cellar functions including but not limited to sanitation, barrel preparation, harvest functions, barrel maintenance, forklift operations, filtration, and bottling to ensure quality and efficiency.
- Assist the winemaking team in quality control throughout the winemaking process.
- Work closely with the winemaking team to ensure the highest possible wine quality.
- Maintain accuracy of cellar staff timecards, in addition supervises timecard approvals and payroll status change forms.
- Assign daily workload to cellar production crew.
- Responsible for barrel monitoring, organization, and inventory.
- Supervise the execution of work orders including the movements/placements of full and empty barrels.
What you will need:
- Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; or minimum 5 years of production experience.
- Minimum 3 years of winery supervisory experience.
- Analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Exceptional organizational skills.
- Good computer skills, Microsoft applications preferred.
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to change in a dynamic environment.
