Job Description
WE ARE SEARCHING FOR AN ASSISTANT CONTROLLER GENERAL ACCOUNTING IN THE GREATER BIRMINGHAM AREA
Job Responsibilities:
Assists controller in managing the accounting department staff and ensures month end closing process is completed timely. Right hand to the controller in preparing the annual budget with guidance from the CFO and Region/Market. Ensures, alongside the controller, the entire balance sheet is reconciled in a timely manner. Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures. Continuous progress toward becoming a controller.
Education Required: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.
Experience Required: 3 years accounting experience.
Preferred: Healthcare experience.
