Dugway Proving Ground is seeking applicants with a Security or Surety background to work in the Systems Security and Surety Division on Dugway Proving Ground, UT. Dugway Proving Ground is approximately 50 minutes from Tooele, Utah, and 90-minute drive from Salt Lake City, Utah. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Serve as the primary advisor to the Army Test and Evaluation Commander/staff on items such as security, surety matters, chemical surety, antiterrorism, weapons of mass destruction, and intelligence.
• Develop strategic planning based on national level guidance to prepare information to respond to national policy in support of the Dugway Proving Ground mission.
• Establish oversight of the Antiterrorism and Force Protection program command-wide encompassing the chemical test facility.
• Represent Dugway at conferences with authority to make binding commitments on issues relating to areas such as intelligence analysis, production and collection.

EXPERIENCE: In order to qualify, you must meet the requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. SPECIALZED EXPERIENCE FOR THE GS-14: One year of specialized experience which includes: 1) Execute Security or Surety matters such as chemical surety, antiterrorism, intelligence contingency plans, treaty compliance requirements, command physical security, emergency operations and force protection functions; AND 2) Develop plans of action to meet mission requirements. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-13).
