Responsibilities:
1. Recruitment Support:
- Assist in posting job openings on job boards and company website.
- Screen resumes and applications to identify qualified candidates.
- Schedule interviews and communicate with candidates throughout the recruitment process.
- Coordinate pre-employment screenings and background checks.
2. Onboarding and Orientation:
- Coordinate new hire orientation sessions and ensure all necessary paperwork is completed.
- Assist in the creation and maintenance of employee personnel files.
- Provide support to new hires during their onboarding process.
3. HR Administration:
- Maintain HR databases and employee records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Process employee changes such as promotions, transfers, and terminations.
- Prepare and distribute HR-related documents, including offer letters, contracts, and policies.
4. Employee Relations:
- Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns.
- Assist with the resolution of employee relations issues, escalating as needed.
- Conduct exit interviews and analyze feedback to identify trends and areas for improvement.
5. Training and Development:
- Coordinate training sessions and workshops for employees.
- Track employee training progress and maintain training records.
- Assist in the development of training materials and programs.
6. Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Assist with audits and compliance reporting as needed.
- Stay informed about changes in HR laws and regulations and update policies and procedures accordingly.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Previous experience in an HR support role preferred.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in HRIS software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and timeliness.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
