$60 - 75/hour

We are seeking multiple full-time physician assistants or nurse practitioners to work with Duke City Occupational Healthcare. You will be working with a dynamic, energetic staff and a rapidly growing occupational healthcare practice. It is supervised by a medical director with 40 years of practice and teaching experience. Our goal is to provide fast, friendly, quality care by providing a full range of occupational healthcare services to employees and employers of NM, while promoting teamwork within our medical family!

Summary of Primary Duties:

As a DCOH provider, you will be expected to provide care for worker's compensation injuries and illnesses during an acute and early chronic phases to include incorporation adjunctive therapeutic modalities (PT, acupunture, chiropractic), and specialty referrals when indicated.

Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct fitness for duty examinations to include pre-placement and safety sensitive positions (DOT, police, fire, etc.). Both initial and periodic.
• Conduct medical surveillance examinations, to include hearing conservation, respiratory protection, lead, asbestos and other OSHA expanded programs.
• Interpret preliminary x-rays and EKGs.
• Interpret audiograms and PFTs.
• Other duties as assigned.
