Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations and strategic direction of our Queensbury block manufacturing facility. The General Manager will be responsible for leading a team, driving operational excellence, and achieving business growth objectives while upholding the company's values and standards.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day operations
• Design strategy and set goals for growth
• Maintain budgets and optimize expenses
• Set policies and processes
• Ensure employees work productively and develop professionally
• Oversee recruitment and training of new employees
• Evaluate and improve operations and financial performance
• Direct the employee assessment process
• Prepare regular reports for upper management
• Ensure staff follows health and safety regulations
• Provide solutions to issues (e.g. profit decline, employee conflicts, loss of business to competitors)

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a General Manager or similar executive role.
• Strong leadership abilities with a track record of effectively leading and developing teams.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to articulate ideas clearly and influence others.
• Strategic mindset with the ability to think analytically, identify opportunities, and develop innovative solutions.
• Financial acumen with experience in budgeting, financial analysis, and performance management.
• Results-oriented with a focus on achieving objectives and driving business success.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities and requirements.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels of the organization.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications.
