Title: Player Development and Video Assistant, Women’s Basketball
Position SummaryDuke University is seeking a qualified candidate for the Player Development and Video Assistant position. This position will assist the women’s basketball program with day-to-day operations.
Essential Functions
  • On-court responsibilities within NCAA rules
  • Assist with video room responsibilities and management of video equipment
  • Aid in preparing pregame scouting materials for coaching staff and team
  • Assist with on campus recruiting, in accordance with NCAA rules
  • Assist with camps and clinics
  • Adhere to Duke, ACC and NCAA video policies and procedures
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • At least one year of professional or collegiate basketball experience preferably at the Division I level
  • A commitment to knowing and complying with NCAA, ACC, and institutional rules
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including frequent evenings and weekends. This position will have work responsibilities around Duke Women’s Basketball games, practices and events

  • Ability to learn quickly and communicate effectively
  • Excellent organizational ability and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage time well and prioritize tasks

Minimum QualificationsEducation
Work requires analytical, communications and organizational skills generally acquired through completion of a bachelor's degree program.
ExperienceWork requires three years of experience in program administration or OR AN EQUIVALENT COMBINATION OF RELEVANT EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE involving academic, instructional or counseling activities to acquire skills necessary to plan, coordinate and implement a variety of program activities and events.
