A Postdoctoral Research position exploring the molecular and cellular pathogenesis of glaucoma is available in the laboratory of Prof. Dan Stamer at the Albert Eye Research Institute at Duke University, Durham, NC.
  • Research in the Stamer Laboratory focuses on studying the molecular and cellular processes in the conventional outflow pathway of the eye that are responsible for homeostatic regulation of intraocular pressure in health, and pathological dysregulation that leads to ocular hypertension in glaucoma.
  • Highly motivated and enthusiastic PhD, or MD/PhD graduates with training in vision science, cell biology, physiology, pharmacology, biomedical engineering or a relevant scientific discipline are encouraged to apply.
  • Experience with animal models is preferred.
