Duluth Trading Co. has an immediate opening for a Weekend Shift (Friday - Monday) Retail Prep Lead at our brand new Distribution Center in West Valley City, UT.

Start as soon as the next week after a successful interview & background check!

**Purpose of Position:**

Monitor and direct the flow of materials and employees in Retail Prep to meet the daily needs of the department. Review current procedures and strive to improve on those procedures to decrease processing time, increase service levels and improve variable operating expenses within the department.

This position is structured to expose the Retail Prep Lead to limited leadership responsibilities so that they can develop leadership skills in the area of operational functions and personnel management.

**What Youll Do:**

* Oversee day-to-day operations and maintain daily cost per unit.

* Monitor team performance and report on metrics.

* Set clear and measurable team goals.

* Conduct on-the-job training and identify additional training needs.

* Mentor and provide coaching and development opportunities.

* Write and administer yearly performance evaluations.

* Be an advocate for team members feedback and conduct conflict resolution as issues arise.

* Manage weekly associate scheduling for the department.

* Follow all safety policies and procedures as outlined.

* Create a positive team environment with an open communication culture. This includes not only within the department but all departments throughout Duluth Trading.

* Ensure clean work area within the department.

* Assist in other areas of the operations in an effort to meet customer expectations and company service levels.

**What Were Looking For:**

* Proven work experience as a team leader or supervisor

* Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy

* Intermediate PC skills, especially MS Excel

* Exceptional communication, organizational, and time-management skills

* Ability to become forklift certified

* Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks
