DUNCAN/RIV FALLS (18050) is Hiring a General Manager, Annual Starting Salary up to $50k/year Near Duncan, SC
AMC Management Corp. is looking for an experienced and knowledgeable Leader to run one of our restaurant locations in Duncan, SC! The General Manager is responsible for running a profitable restaurant and for making sure the restaurant meets McDonald’s critical customer standards of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness. These standards are high, so this is a big job! The General Manager works with his/her leader to set the restaurant’s goals and creates a plan to achieve the goals. To meet restaurant goals, the General Manager doesn’t work alone. He or she leads a team of Department Managers that has specific responsibilities in the restaurant. This means helping the Department Managers to set their own goals, following up on their progress, and providing coaching and direction to improve their Departments in various areas of cost control The General Manager may also be responsible for hiring and developing Department and Shift Managers to make sure that the restaurant has the right team to lead into the future. Ideal candidates should have previous General Manager experience running high volume locations. Previous McDonald's experience is preferred. A background in quick service restaurants is strongly desired, or experience in hospitality. QUALIFICATIONS:
Knowledge of all Restaurant Level Cost Controls
Possess Basic Computer Knowledge
Ability to count money and accurately give change
Have a positive attitude
Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
Work as a member of a team
Manage Time effectively
Hospitality knowledge and training
Leadership Skills
Must have the ability to manage and lead a team of up to 50 employees
Minimum of 1 year Restaurant managerial experience
**Previous Quick Service Restaurant Experience Preferred**
ServSafe Certified - Preferred
The General Manager may also be responsible for hiring and developing Department and Shift Managers to make sure that the restaurant has the right team to lead into the future.
