Job Description
The program director is responsible for the development, coordination, and management of the daily operations of the services in the Unit Based Department (IHS and 24 HR EA). Areas of responsibility include ensuring orientation and ongoing training and development of staff and ensuring all aspects of the program are developed, implemented, coordinated, and monitored to the highest degree possible. The unit-based program director has a role in helping to ensure financial best practices are maintained in the department. The program director should have direct communication and access to the supervisor.
Position begins at $55,500 annually
Qualifications
Must meet the designated manager qualifications.
•Must be able to demonstrate de-escalation techniques, conflict resolution, positive support methods and person-centered approach with children and adults who may present significant mental health symptoms, physical and verbal aggression, property destruction, chemical dependence, brain injury and cognitive impairments.
•Need the ability to understand and implement behavior support plans, treatment plans, individualized support plans, and person-centered plans.
•Ability to assess situations and make sound judgments when given guidance and priorities. Anticipate possible outcomes of actions and react accordingly.
•Ability to effectively work one: one with individuals.
•Ability to plan and prioritize work to manage time effectively and accomplish assigned tasks. Ability to self-manage tasks effectively and communicate need
